Tom Holland says he is under “a lot of pressure” to embody Spider-Man […] He doesn’t want to disappoint fans and is glad there is pressure as he finds it gives him “motivation to work even harder“.
He said: “There is a lot of pressure but I love pressure – it gives you motivation to work even harder. And I know Marvel have got a great team behind the writing and I think we’re going to make a really good movie.
[…] “Yeah .. life will change. I probably won’t be able to walk down the street for a certain period of time.” And Tom also admits he has only recently started to really enjoying reading a variety of comic books.
He added to Total Film magazine: “I loved TV shows, I loved the films … and I read a fair few, but I’d never go to the comic-book store and buy comics; But now with what’s happened I’ve been reading comics relentlessly, and not just Spider-man comics. All sorts. I’m a huge fan of Daredevil and Punisher and all of those.“
